Im so shocked and speechless of what has just happened to me..

I haven’t really told anyone bout this but just a few. Well i was born in the Philippines where my mom and dad had me when they were young and not married. When i was 2years old my mom wanted to live a life in the states, so she took me along with her. My dad stayed in the Philippines, while my mom and i moved to california, but she promised him that once we find a place to live, she would go back and get him. Turns out that never happened..So long story short, couple years pass and she marrys this guy from the navy who now is my step dad. The last time i talked to my real dad was when i was like 5 or 6 on my birthday. He sent me a lego firetruck set and we talked for like a few minutes, then that was the last time i heard from. Now like 11 years past and i would always get these random friend request from people from the P.I. and i would be guessing it was family from over there. 2 nights ago i was on facebook on my itouch and i accidentally clicked approved on some people trying to add me and it happened to be some filipino guy and i assumed it was an uncle or something like that. Then last night i get a message saying “oh its been a very long time we havent had communication, but thanks to FB i was able to find you”. Seeing this made me wonder who the heck this person was. Then he sent me another message saying “im so proud of you for being in your schools marching band, i watched your groups video and i was so impressed, im proud of you son.  Keep up the good work and take care son.”

After reading that message, i finally put the messages together and i asked my cousins and auntie and they didnt respond to me for awhile. then they said that really is my dad…

So basically after 11 long years without like my real dad.. He finally found me up on facebook. Im still speechlesss :O
